Building material reuse

The marble is an expensive building material which accept and welcomed by people. In fact, the marble be widely used in interior decoration of building. However, this material easily produces scrap material and difficult to reuse. Moreno Ratti is a creative designer of marble. He is good at utilizing marble to create new production. His production be full of fun and imagination. The first picture shows his newest production – A series of vases be composed by marble (scrap material) and resin. This production has several benefits, such as waste utilization and cost saving. The production shows character of marble and use resin to highlight the beauty of marble. The following picture present the process and using status of these productions.

He also has other productions which have designs inspired (40x40x3 without producing waste material). Vases very lightweight as if they were made of porcelain, whose surface is characterized by the natural texture left by the cutting of the waterjet. The picture shows the design procedures and cutting technology. In addition, the following picture also show the appearance of this productions.
