Technological Park in Obidos

The Technological Park in Obidos is a low density building, which could blend in view of countryside. The Technological Park project is use for creative companies. Thus, the main issue of this project is how to connect the relationship between surrounding environment and project. According to Jorge Mealha (2015), ‘The Óbidos region is still characterised by a mainly rural and balanced arrangement between forest and small agricultural premises, where paved surfaces spread trough this territory in an almost random way’. The first picture shows the appearance of Technological Park.The following picture show the view of countryside in Obidos.

The Technological Park project fuse two main functions — Technological Park main building and main piazza. The type of main piazza follow the interesting public spaces called “Terreiros” in Obidos, those kind of large free spaces, where in fact quite effective public spaces despite its often formless borders. The following picture show the structure of main piazza of Technological Park project.

The building type of Technological Park project is cloister structure, which is quite effective towards the possibility of a strong visual interaction. The final picture shows the inside structure of Technological Park project. Thus, this project present a solution of modern building connects with countryside.
